Symphonic Band is the second highest-level band class of the program and therefore requires self-discipline and hard work.  All musicians must audition in the Spring to get in for the following year, and because of instrumentation it can be difficult to get in.

Additionally, ALL musicians are expected to participate in the marching band season and will also need to stay after school for a few rehearsals during MPA season.  This past year (2022-2023) the Symphonic Band earned an “Excellent” on stage and a “Superior” in sight reading; they performed “March of The Clowns,” “Three Czech Folk Songs,” and “The Lords of Greenwich.”  Pictured below was this past year’s Symphonic Band!!!
