Cypress bay high school
Under the main direction of Mr. Brett Dawson, we’re an enthusiastic group of high school musicians and guard members. We practice and perform our craft in multiple ensembles throughout the school year. Come see us at our various Marching Band Performances, Winter Guard Performances, and Concerts!!!Â
We’re grateful to have the support of our local community & parent volunteers. They allow this program to thrive, and because of them, we can pursue our musical dreams!!!
The Band Program includes various different players, including beginner and advanced performers.
There are three main groups of in the Band Program: Winds (brass and woodwinds), Percussion (drummers, auxiliary, battery, other percussion), and Guard (combination of flag dancing, sabers, and acrobatic movements with other accessories)

Our music ensembles perform for community events, fundraise for the music program, and collaborates with local elementary & middle schools.
