Cypress Bay High School Sound of Thunder Band and Color Guard is open to all high schoolers. Led by Band Director, Brett Dawson, who has more than 30 years of experience as a band director, students will learn how to play an instrument, march in a band, and time management. Incoming students do not need to have experience.
Color Guard is a mixture of dance, flag, rifle and sabre techniques. The team is open to boys and girls in high school interested in performing during marching season and Winter Guard. No experience is required. Color Guard is lead by Clement Vassell, who brings years of experience and excitement to the team.
